Love is da Drug
Pride London, a parade down Regent Street on Saturday. Amnesty International making their presence felt as one of the “pressure groups”, but many floats were about corporations vying for brand space in the bland new world.
And Behind the Red Door
Wandering the streets in and around Fitzrovia looking for a likely candidate as an image to enter into The Fitzrovia Photography Prize when the sun appeared briefly while I was looking around St Pancras Church on Euston Road. This building provides a welcome relief to the anonymous streetscape on Euston Road around Euston Station.
Amazon, Regent’s Park
The lush vegetation on the edge of Regent’s Canal is reflected in the canal giving it a tropical feel as this moorhen passes by during a gap in canal boat traffic.

Church Ruins Photo
On Saturday’s walk through the Kent countryside we stopped at the ruins of St Mary’s church at Little Chart for lunch. The original structure was built around 1200 and added to over the next couple of hundred years. It was finally reduced to rubble by a German Doodlebug in 1944.
Suddenly Next Summer
Spring was gently doing its bit for the flora and fauna when suddenly summer popped its head around the door. The combination was an electric week of sunshine and freshness in London that showed off the new growth in a stunning fashion as evidenced by these cherry blossoms in Regent’s Park.
Canalside Living Room
Passing the home of the Pigeons today just under the bridge near Camden Market, I noticed they had new living room furniture. I couldn’t resist sneaking a shot of their front room from across the canal. I guess having nosey passersby is the downside of living canalside in Camden Market.
