This athletic Russian dancer was taking part in the Maslenitsa festivities in Trafalgar Square today, Sunday 6th March. Along with some, I attended the festival to wish the winter goodbye. For others it was a last chance bliny before the Great Lent. Either way it was a fun celebration and a welcome addition to Trafalgar Square’s calendar of cultural events.
